Stiffkey area – first session success!

The beautiful and unique River Stiffkey has over several centuries become degraded and is no longer functioning as a healthy chalk river should do. Recent funding has meant new opportunities to work in this area and find out what problems exist. I have been working with the Norfolk Rivers Trust to create a hypothetical possible future landscape for the area.

The Norfolk Rivers Trust hosted a session in the Stiffkey valley today for interested landowners and farmers to give feedback on possible future changes to the River Stiffkey.

The event was well attended with lots of questions raised and interest shown in the maps and computer technology which the UEA team brought with them.
